Anyone got any tips or tricks to blocking the inlet on the inside of the cab? maybe a lid for a cleaner or something? not using it much anymore and it seems to be blowing air into core, then forcing hot air out of the heater vents even when its off, i was just gonna cap it off for the warmer season. I thought i read something bout a lid off a small box of cleaners or something that worked perfect, but i cant find the thread. Thanks guys!

Try just blocking it off up by the hood intake. That way if it rains you could easly remove a piece of tin or plastic and get your defrost working.

If you're getting hot air when you have the heat shut off, your heat control valve under the hood is not closing all the way. Should be in one of the coolant hoses going to the heater core. Mine always needs a little hands on help to close completely.

I didnt realize the control valve was the source, i could pick up one up. Its a def need b/c when its nice like it has been lately and i've got heat blowing on my feet, makes the bronco a little less enjoyable driving down the road. LMC truck is just right down the road, so itll be easy. Thanks guys!
