Front body mounts

I’m building a front winch bumper and found a difference in the body mount brackets. Right side is at a 90 degree angle to the frame and is riveted on. Left side is welded on and leans to the rear. Looks further forward. Maybe due to the steering box?

I have a ‘71 Bronco

Thanks
Bob

Correct. Driver side mount is skewed due to other components in the area and the needs of lining up with the body. Generally speaking the holes themselves are lined up straight across, or close to it. So nothing exotic or damaged. Just normal.

Thanks. I notched the bracket to expose the bolt hole. This will give me 4 bolts in the frame on each side.
