Front Sway Bar Options

Looking for a front anti-sway bar for a street only rig (stock height). Options seem to vary a lot on price with Wild Horses $797, Toms $429 and Jegs Addco model at $190. I realize that WH has features that I don't really need (quick disconnects) and perhaps Toms is a Hellwig(?). Do you see any issue with using the Addco model with its 7/8" versus Hellwig (or whatever brand Toms has)? Addco endlinks are overly fancy but for a stock set up I would think they would be find and the price is hard to beat.

Thoughts? Thanks

If your street a stock set up would be fine, addco, it can hurt some ground clearance.
More designed after the orig that came with later Broncos.
Still trying to wrap my head around a 800.00 sway bar, I know there is design cost, and some other small parts and it is very functional. But 800.00 bucks lil cheaper with out the disconnects
Still want one.

Tom’s is Hellwig. Makes a huge difference. I have no experience with the Addco.

I have Addco front and rear on my street rig with 1.5 lift, handles great. Ground clearance is definitely an issue up front.

The Hellwig is the best out there. Use the one without the quick disconnects to save some money. They preform so well you will forget you are in a Bronco!

I have several with the OEM front sway bars and I can hardly tell the difference in them and one without the swaybar. I think that the geometry of the way the original sway bar is connected to the radius arms instead of the frame really negates its function. The leverage effect of the radius arm on the sway bar still lets the Bronco still lean. The Helwig is designed like the new Jeep bars and they really work. I installed one on a Bronco that already drove great just to see if it really was functional and it is amazing the difference.

Have you tried the Hellwig rear bar? X2 on the huge difference, but 'forget I'm in a Bronco' umm nope not the case with mine!! Then again the 35's have just about killed the stock PS pump at this point, and I'm pretty sure I need to rebuild my box....one day %);D

Hellwig hands down...they stand behind their product should you ever need anything.

I ordered mine from Tom's. Made a huge difference as well.

For improved handling, Hellwig hands down. We have them front and rear on the Bronco. Also have them on my Jeep and our Yukon XL. When it works, it works! ;-)

I have a 76-77 factory front sway bar setup that’s been powder coated and has newer bushings. if you’re interested in that option, send me a PM.

Antirock I heard makes some nice sway bars.

That would be the Currie Antirock. I don't believe they make a Bronco specific kit. They offer Jeep and Universal kits (the last I knew).

Friend has one on a Jeep. Best way he describes it as half a sway bar. More than none, less than stock. The arms are really long so there is still lots of travel and articulation without excessively twisting the bar itself.
