fuel pump relay acting weird

my bronco has been my daily driver for the past 2 years and today it decided not to start. It cranks but doesn't fire and I couldn't hear the fuel pump when i turned the key half way. I had an issue with a wet fuel pump relay before so I put in a spare and turned the key half way and the pump went on and stayed on and wouldn't cycle off and still no start. I have fuel at the shrader valve on the hard fuel rail. I just bought a brand new relay and it's acting the same as the one that i had in there and the fuel pump isn't making any noise. I know it's something to do with the relay or pump. I think? Any ideas?

Unplug the wire from the pump and hook it up to a testlight. See if it acts normally. If it does either the pump is bad or the pump ground is bad.

a wet computer can cause this problem, does your bronco leak where the computer is mounted. Mine did this once , I just pulled it and threw it in the oven for 1 hour at 140 degrees, this was right after a trip home from an event, if you wait too long the moisture will create corrosion and you will be screwed.

I just tried putting in my spare pump that I know works and still nothing. I guess I need to wait for someone to come over so I can test the relay and wire going to the pump because I can't turn the key and test it quick enough. I really hope it's not in the computer because I wouldn't know where to start. The weird thing is that one spare relay I plug in and when I turn the key the pump stays on (doesn't cycle off after a few seconds) and the brand new relay and the old relay don't do anything when i turn the key.

Now it sounds more like a wiring issue hopefully its not the computer but I would run through all the wires going to the relay to make sure they are good.

If the relay got wet the relay socket probably got wet check the connections for corrosion.
