Is the Bronco fuel sending unit 70 Ohms empty and 10 ohms full? I am looking to put in after market fuel gauge. Is it as easy as hooking the two wires from the sending unit to the gauge?

Thanks!

Mine's reading 6 ohms at the sender, is that why my Autometer gauge is reading well past full?

No. One (either) of the gauge terminals goes to a switched 6VDC source (or an IVR from a switched 12VDC source); the other goes to the sender. The sender's other terminal goes to chassis ground.
