Econolines used Saginaw pumps with serpentine belt. You would probably be able to reuse your WH pump. Not sure about the alternator. The belt is farther forward than an Explorer serpentine so you'll need to use a flex fan with the right spacer or move your radiator if you want a clutch.

I had forgot I started this thread back in 2017. I finally had enough of the belt squeal. I had to swap belts twice during OCBR last year. It had gotten to the point that belts in my truck tool box looked like Fred Sanford getting his glasses out of the drawer. Last Oct/Nov I bought one of the Explorer kits from Sanndmann3, sent the pump to Lee's power steering for an upgrade. I absolutely love it.Wish I had done this quicker. Kept my Ron Davis radiator and just used a crossover pipe for the bottom. This was my 73 with 351W.

About to swap the motor in my 75 (has 302) and he's gathering me another kit for it so I can do the upgrade while swapping engines. I have a new radiator with the inlet/outlets to match the Explorer waterpump, bottom on driver's side. Going to use the WH bracket and keep the Saginaw pump since this one has larger tires. Obviously V-belts served the purpose for along time but I am happy to wave bye bye to them.

Perhaps the easiest route is to just get the bundle that sanndmann3 offers on here and swap out the whole combination you have now. I imagine you could sell some of the parts you are currently using. I have used two of his "kits" and it's an easy switcheroo.

Well, that's what I did, and it works great. I meant for my post to be an update to the thread to maybe help somebody searching.

I had the squeal too until I replaced the stock bronco pulley on the 3G with an aftermarket aluminum pulley. Has not squealed for years.
