Guess what i did....

Well you know one of those days when your dinkin around with a holley carb and you go out for a ride to "test" it (romp the piss out of it) anyway i still had some hesitation from idle but anyway i goose it and falls on its face as usual then pump the throttle to get her goin and hit second gear around a wide corner and the ass end shifts over and i almost loose it (doin about 60) and im wondering... did the locker break, did i break an axle? so i put it in reverse and dump the clutch... two marks. So i told my buddy to hop out and look at the ass end and says its shifting forward and back on the driver side... so i find out that the center pin in the leaf spring broke and spit the alum shim and the bottom leaf out... %) whew nothing expensive lol, anyway i got an entire set of vacum secondary springs and those lil plastic accel pump cams to pump a lil more fuel and a tear drop hood scoop (install pics coming soon) just one of those days...;D

I had a day like that. I just got my new engine tuned and running great. I have been easy on it till I hit my 2000 mile mark, and 2000+ miles on it, I get the great idea and see how fast she will go. I find a nice open back road no homes no people perfect I say. I gas it buy the time I hit 3rd I was at 80mph. Dear god is it fast. And the motor has more I dump in to forth. Then *clunk**clunk**clunk*. Damn there goes my rear drive shaft. So I pulled it and limped back on on my front axle.:-[
