I'm not real sure myself, but have recently been looking aswell. I've seen a junk top for $800 and also found one that 'appears' pretty decent for $600. I'm not 100% sure what the actual real world value is either?

Paid $550 a year ago for a decent half cab and bulkhead. I'd say a seven out of ten. I generally see them go for $500 to $1,000 depending on condition.

Wow I've got one I'd TAKE $500.00 BuT I don't want to ship it. Mine is fiberglass and I have an old 3 coats of paint on the bulk head. I've sold mine 3 times but never got any money so I've just kept as I do have another Bronco an all the items to put NO.2 together . I just didn't really want 2... 1/2 cabs. I just can't see shipping a fiberglass top.
......I think 500 is a proper price aand the ones I see for $800.00 seems really high to me.

if i were in the market, (and i wish i was) i would pay 400 for a steel halfcab and bulkhead that needed work. id pay 550 for a set that was structurally good, but needed finishing, i.e. paint, surface rust cleanup... i wouldn't pay a dime over 700 for a set in great condition. my main reason for saying that is that if i'm willing to spend over 700, then i may as well buy new...

i would love to have a half cab and bulkhead, but i have so many other thing that need to be purchased for my project, that will have to wait a little longer. if its in as good of shape as you say then post a ad in the for sale section w/ pics and mark it 700... just be willing to negotiate if people think its high...

Depends on the buyer. I would have no interest in a fiberglass one even if it was free. It took me years to find a reasonably priced steel one within driving distance.

Factory steel is worth more than fiberglass, in my opinion. I have one that needed just a little work that I gave $400 for.

I think the steel is worth more than the fiberglass but I'll also say that the steel has a tin can sound and the Fiber glass doesn't have as much noise in my opinion.

I know last year I could have had 3 different half tops that were decent. No seam rot,few dents and decent paint for $600ea. Now that I am seriously looking for one, the least expensive one I have found is $850. and it would cost me about $400. to have it shipped.
