I really did not like how close the hole was from the edge of the panel, so I decided to see if I could modify it. I chose to move it back 1/16 of an inch. first remove the sheet metal cover with the two little screws, then remove the bigger set screw which are metric, now you can unscrew the head normally, mine had machining chips in threads of the hydraulic shaft so it was a little crunchy as I screwed if off go figure. Once the head is off remove the male part of the die with the washer looking kind of things and keep together. Now remove the smaller set screw which secures the female portion of the hole die, now push the male die guide out of the housing, then I used a 5/16 strait punch I think to push the female die out going in from the back side of the housing, it's a precision fit (tight) so if it gets stuck don't worry just work it back and forth. Now you can mill the back stop surface or use like maybe a couple of stacked cutoff wheels or anything you can get in there...the metal is really soft. As much crud...grinding and metal shavings that was in the head the unit might last longer now. Don't forget to put a little lube on the die parts when going back together You can see the difference in the hole placement, exacto knife pointing at the original. I tried to find a post on this mod but didn't see one, so that's why I threw this out there
