The '78 shaft will need an EB bracket to secure it to the dash. It looks like my '77 otherwise. The columns are both 2 1/4" in diameter and the shafts are nearly identical. If I position the shaft to place the shift arm in the same position as the '77 to maintain the C4 selector geometry will the rim be moved relative to the dash?
