im just curious, cuz i plan on doing extended radius arms with my fullwidth swap, and i still want to run the factory arm mount at the back because i still will be driving this truck daily and don't want to mess with heims or johnny joints wearing out on the street, and i can't afford the duff arms or any comporable to them, i like how the WH arms work, they're affordable, i just hope they won't have any binding issues with the 78-79 fw dana 44 im going to run, i don't see any reason they will, just wondering if anyone has done something similar, and i don't have the time, or the place to build my own arms, i'll barely have the time to do the axle swaps, and i'll have to do them in my friends driveway, plus the truck is my daily driver so i can't leave it down for too long. any info on this would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I see no reason why they would. I like the WH arms since they 'look' like stock arms even though they are longer and stronger.

Colorado75Bronc, I wouldn't worry too much about wearing out the heims or Johnnies. If you use a decent heim it will likely outlast the rest of your Bronco. And Johnny joints are rebuildable, with a replaceable hard urethane race, sort of like replacing bushings. That said, you should be fine running the WH arms with stock-type bushings. They will be slightly in bind because of the increased outward angle of the arms with your 78/79 front end, but not any worse than the bind already put into them by lifting the Bronco over stock height. I'm a fan of heim joints and that's what we use with our WCB arms, but if you like the WH arms and they fit your budget better, by all means run 'em! You're going to love the full-widths :D

thank you so much dusty, i really appreciate it, i'd love to run your arms but with the economy the way it is i just really can't swing it, currently im running an older 3.5" duff lift that was on the truck when i got it, and a 2 inch body, i figured i'd start with the WH arms and do coils and some other things to the suspension later, i plan on running 35's and staying with 3.5 inches to keep it low slung, as i still drive it daily, and i plan on running some fairly serious trails out here in colorado, and thank you for the advice on the heims and jonny joints, i wasn't sure how often that point of the arm was going to be loaded, i only came to the conclusion of the heims not being good on the street because i know in other applications they wouldn't last on a daily driver, say on an independent suspension, or trac bars and things of the sort, i wasn't totally sure about the jonny joints, and if u don't mind me asking, i've seen the pics of mark's truck on your website and the 78-79 d44 you guys swapped in, and i like the way you had moved the coil buckets out, but what is your personal opinion of just adapting the lower coil cups to sit to the inside edge of the top of the radius arm to make up for the coil mounting points different widths with out moving the radius arms in, something similar to how the user "broncomitch" did on here, i originally wanted to use a 76-77 f-150 d44 so i could cut the c's off an relocate them but could not locate one for a reasonable price, i found my 78-79 d44 for 75 dollars and couldn't pass it up. thank you
