Have you ever renamed your Bronco?

I bought my first Bronco in 1979. I found a previous owner had named her "Beulah". It was a pretty cool name and maybe bad karma to change, so I couldn't bring myself to rename her.

Sold it in 1981, though.

Fast forward to 1989 and I bought another one with the same year and color, so she became "Beulah 2". Still have this one.

Recently bought my third one, so even though it is a different color, I'm following the same scheme: "Beulah 3"!

For some reason, when hear the name Beulah… Beulah Balbricker the very hard on the eyes and ball breaker gym teacher in the movie Porkey’s comes to mind. LMAO!

My 72 Bronco is a Half Cab ... I built it 15 years ago . IT'S name Became ..SNAKEBITE .. Because every item I put on it had to be redone.
I was SNAKEBIT on this build.. I ran it for several years with the V8 302 in it BUT IT couldn't keep from getting Hot while running . I gave up & removed that motor & installed a, 4 BT Cummins in it .
That made it so much more reliable . It runs so cool the heater doesn't work So it doesn't get much winter driving .
....... An old machinist neighbor of mine Made me a Name Plate for it . It was supposed to be screwed onto my Glove Box door . But he didn't measure my door & It was too large ...
It's an 1/2 THICK ALUMINUM PLATE in the shape of the BLUE OVAL. It's about 8 inches long & 4inch tall. SO We mounted it in the center of the Back of my Half Cab under the rear window ... Really nice feature . Made on a CNC .
My 4bt has a Camo PlASTIC Skin .& top, bumpers, wheels, rockers. inside the rear bed.,Grill, Those 2 spots in the hood, Wiper Arms, & A FLOW THRU TAILGATE, Mirrors & Fender Flares are all coated in Bed Liner Black.
My door handles are the only Chrome on my Bronco ... Now that CAMO SKIN & Black bed line has been in for about 10+ years & while it's worn ... It still looks good at 25ft.
well i couldn't gey my phone to load a picture

I did give mine a name several years ago. But I don't refer to the Bronco by it's name much. It's name is Pokey. After the orange horse from the old Gumby cartoon series.
What's this Stripe Kit called. I had a Bronco I bought but only gathered parts for. & someone offered me $5000.oo so I sent it east. I just didn't want to build another one at 73yo.
& I have 4 other project in my shop. 3 of them I'd like get going before 80yo.

That’s a Special Decor stripe. Package was offered in 1976-77.
