Have you ever searched and found no answer, only to find it when you start a thread?

I needed to know how to mount the hood latch to my new grille. My latch was floating around the inside of the cab, mounting parts were missing, so I decided to start a thread. DirtDonk suggested looking at the Vendors pictures... (I did a search, and nothing...)

Once I titled it, up pops a thread that answered my question... "Dooh"!

I do that all the time, the search function doesn't always show me what I want but something like that will pop up when I start to write a new thread lol.

I also learned a trick not long ago using Google to search the forum. I'll type: hood latch install site:classicbroncos.com, and it'll bring every thread up that mentions it.

Yeah, you have to click the Google Search after running a search most of the time and it's better but not always good.

I do similar. I type in classicbroncos.com hood latch install and it will show stuff from here first then others.

The latest search engine lists similar threads and that helps.
