agreed, I spoke with Steve amny times before buying my rig, he's a first class guy with a sweet 66.

Thats way too little for that type of restoration IMO. I would be curious to see what kind of bones that would pull at Barret Jackson, especially considering that it is the 40th for the steed.

That thing looks great. It seems like a great deal for completely restored
stocker. I'd love to get that, but I would want to wheel it.

It is what I want to do to my rig, just not so precious that I can't
take it offroad.

I think there is a market out there for completely restored, and updated,
rigs (AC and power disc brakes, etc.). Sort of like buying a new car, but
a retro one with some character. The landcruiser guy (TLC4X4) is doing
it, but his FJ-40s are 90K a pop.

Is this the landcruiser guy you are talking about? If I couldn't find an EB, I would have like to have one of these also.

After looking at the 66 Bronco, I noticed that the door is not square to the body like it comes from the factory. Is that the way for a true restoration, or should it be squared?
Man, I wish I had $24,500. Around here any restoration starts at $30,000.
