Anyone have pics of their Western plow setup? Mainly underhood and dash where the knobs come through, I can probably figure out the rest...yeah who am i kiddin? ;D

I have a complete setup, hydraulic-style plow from an EB, but the only pic I have (1st pic) is from a 6 cylinder with no power steering (as far as I can tell) and I can't tell where the pump mounts.

I've pored over probably every snow plow thread on CB but not finding what i need, thanks for any help

Jeff you’re probably have to make something custom have you checked air conditioning mounting setups most plows are electric hydraulic like mine

I recently removed my entire Western plow set up off my '66 which has a 6 cyl. in it. The pump will mount on RH side above alternator. Your "up" and "down" control and the "left" and "right" angle control valves both mount on the left inner fender well. One goes on the top where it is flat, and the other goes on the inner side which angles down towards the frame.

Sorry, I did not take pictures of it installed. I may be able to take pics of where they were located and where the control rods fed through the fire wall, (basically level with the bottom of the dash panel and left of the steering column as you sit in the drivers seat.

Thanks MB that is very helpful information. The brackets on the rods would suggest mounting to bottom of dash so that makes sense. If you could send pics of your left fender well and firewall opening that would be great! 907-351-454three

Bronco is ready to attach plow, had to remove the front sway bar. Still need to weld a broken bracket where one of the cylinders attaches to plow, thanks guys
