The only complaint I have with my HF Daytona floor jack is that it’s hard to drag across the yard. Yeah, sometimes I have flats in inconvenient places. Bought the 3 ton Daytona jack stands and have no fear whatsoever about working under the Bronco supported by them.

Mine sits outside 24/7 and it can get difficult to drag around, but a shot of Maxima motorcycle chain wax gets it rolling again.

I've had mine about 15 years now, only complaint is the squeak it makes when I jack something up. Also have 3 sets of the Daytona jack stands.

I've got one of these in red & love it. But use it for jobs that it can roll to because it's so heavy.

I waited for it to be on sale. Pay attention to the specs on the HF jacks. They've got lots of models & vary with how much lift they provide, how big the saddle is, how low they go, weight rating, etc.

I've also got an aluminum floor jack that lives in the 90 Bronco. The light weight is very convenient. If I have to carry the jack I always grab the aluminum.

I have more questions than answers.
What your majority use should help dictate what direction. For a bronco lots of lift height. Low car collapsed height would be the driver.

With a removable saddle you can always make an extension similar to what HF did.

I wouldn’t throw out any of the harbor freight Jack Stands. If you live close enough to one to take them by, see if they’ll still take them back.
That’s for any that hadn’t heard about the recall.
They only recalled certain numbers, but at some point fairly early on, near the beginning of the process, they literally included practically every previous harbor freight jackstand ever sold.
I turned in four of my own, and probably 10 or 15 of other friends stands, and we all got store credit for the full value of each one at the time. Not sale prices, not 10-year-old prices. But current prices at the time.
I’d say they handled that process pretty well.
Probably should have done that. I wanted them out of the “house” (garage) asap as my boys worked/work on their cars all the time.

I made an adapter that replaced the saddle so that the Safe Jack bits that I was given can be used with the small, skid-plated floor jack that I carry on the '96.
288 bucks for a bunch of stuff that won't lift your rig off the ground??? TS, how much does your rig WEIGH before you put camp gear in ????? :) (flipping ya &)#&+& some stuff.... lol

I dunno, but with all of the race-chase & camping gear in it the rear pre-runner springs sag noticeably!
I did a good man a favor (RIP Elliot Dubreuil) when he really needed it and his way of thanking me was to send me that full Safe Jack kit. I did look at them when they first came out and decided that it was a bit rich for me.
