Ok here it is... My father in law gave me a Holley carb he had from a recent build. It is supposed to be in good shape but could stand to be freshened up. So he threw in a rebuild kit with it. I am not real familiar with Holley and wondered how to decipher this List number: List-1850-3? How many cfm is that? Double pumper? Model Number? etc. Any help is appreciated.

1850 is a universal carb 600cfm and vaccum secondaries I've run one for years on my bronco with no problems you may have to rejet it but otherwise it will work fine. As see my tech article in the tech section on how to modify it so it performs similar to a TA

Thanks for the info guys. This sounds like a good carb to run. Escpecially since it and the kit were both free. I talked to him a little more last night and he said it ran good but acted like it was getting more gas on one side than the other. He is a great source for ford stuff, cause he'll go buy new stuff instead of rebuilding anything. And if the new stuff doesn't work in his application, he just keeps it and goes and buys more. Then I'll do something like lay harwood floor in their house or tile, or put a new water pump on for him and he gives me all the ford stuff I want that is "just sittin around" out in the garage. He is a good guy to get parts off of, just not real good at buying the right part. LOL
