I have the FiTech system and have only ran it a few times so far. Have not delt with their tech support much as of yet. But if I run into to many problems I will sell the Fi-Tech and buy the sniper system and eat the few hundred bucks I would loose to have a good system. I bought mine from WH as well and now they have the holley system for the same price. If I would of known the sniper kit was coming I would of held off. If I did not have either right now I would wait a little longer to see how the holley system performs. I do agree their programing section can be a lot better especially for those of us who are new to EFI.

Pulled the trigger on the sniper...just trying to figure out the best way to plumb the fuel

Do you have dual tanks? If I had a single tank I think I would have ordered one by now but all that pumping and wiring for dual tanks won't be fun.

Plumb your aux tank to refill your main tank, and run the system off your main tank. Or use a 6 port switch. If you want it old school, find a used 73 switch (rare) or buy a Groco valve:

If you want to go modern get an electric Pollak like:

I will be running a single 23 gal. tank, but concerned about safety.

What about safety switch that turns the elec pump or fuel flow off in case of accident or roll?

Pressure switch

And a one way check valve in your fuel line.

In the garage
I have been running the FITech for about 2 months now and love it.
Previously I had a Holley Pro-Jection which worked great for many years.
The FITech is so much better than the old Pro-Jection, I am amazed.

The only issue I had was tuning the idle. My IAC was high and it tok me a while to research and find how to adjust it.
Since it has been set this thing runs fantastic, I just wish the instructions were more detailed than they are.

Like this one?

Holley info:
"It will prevent the pump from running in a situation where the motor may stall with the ignition on. Wiring the switch through the starter solenoid circuit energizes the pump on engine start-up. After the engine is running, the switch continues to provide power to the pump as long as there is oil pressure to keep the switch turned on."

I'm sure the Sniper is a good system, but I love my FiTech, yes in the beginning I had problems with it,so had to send it back to them, they pretty much rebuilt the whole thing and sent it back to me within a week, now it starts perfect, although I haven't driven it yet cuz I'm still working on some other stuff, but Cody at FiTech was nice and he made sure the dam thing worked before sending it back to me,Love the FiTech.:);D;):D

I am currently installing a Holley Sniper on a customer truck. I waited forever to get it and finally was able to buy it from CJ Pony Parts. I then ordered the supplemental Fuel pump kit (the rest of the master kit) directlly from Holley. The kit contained the wrong Bosch o2 sensor(wouldn't plug into the throttle body). Holley immediately sent me the correct one overnight service for free. I will keep you posted as it progresses. Mark in San Diego, Beach City Broncos.

Hey Mark, any update to your install? How is it working out?

I just installed the Fitech. Replaced my old Howell setup I had. So far, so good. Definitely runs a lot better, though the throttle is tighter and a little lag on initial acceleration, but I haven't driven it enough to work everything out yet. Need to go play and see how it does...

I installed a kit from our first Fitech shipment once we became a distributor and i've been very happy with it. Before this I had run the Edelbrock E Street which started out great on my Bronco, then later gave me nothing but problems. Second kit I ran was the MSD Atomic which was good, but took quite a bit of fine tuning on my end to get it fully dialed which was fine, but required extra time spent fine tuning, and a few calls to MSD Tech for advice. When we recieved the Fitech units in, I was able to sell my MSD Atomic for more than the Fitech (Extra Bronco Fund Money) and purchase the Fitech. This kit was easier to install than any other kit out i've ever used, runs better, and burns cleaner than the Atomic or E Street did for my truck. I had one issue 3 months into running the Fitech that caused it to run super rough at idle and almost die while driving home one night. I drove it to work the next day, and ran a dedicated 14 gauge ground wire from the throttle body to the neg terminal of the battery, reset the parameters and it's been good ever since. I've since driven it to, through and back from the Rubicon, drive it every weekend, take it camping, and it runs like a top. Recently I met a customer that came to Wild Horses that I was telling about the Fitech Kit, come to find out that he been running two Fitech units for the past 4 years on each of his trucks with no issues other than needing to add a dedicated ground wire (Which isn't in the instructions, but should be) I'm a believer in the Fitech EFI and won't be changing out, however we will be installing a Sniper on one of the rigs here in the near future, so we will be able to give some solid feedback on that kit as well.
