I used to be on an email list of guys who were using the eec-IV on all sorts of different engines and sometimes for odd-ball uses. The info is out there somewhere to make it work on just about anything. The key is how deep a dive into that sort of thing do you want to do?

I'd be much more inclined to use the SEFI hardware with an aftermarket ECU than I would be to go backwards to a wet flow intake manifold. Not sure how much support you'll get in doing so, might be that you're going to have to learn how to start from scratch with that ECU's programming. If there's a EFI tuner in your area it might be good to find out what their preferred ECU choice is and investigate those. Ultimately you're likely going to need some time on a chassis dyno to fine-tune it. It is a big chunk to bite off, but the results will be worthwhile and battling Holley's dumb decisions doesn't sound like the results are worth the trouble.

Man you guys are kinda scaring me a little! Im about to remove all my Fford Fuel Injection or a Sniper system on a 347 stroker. Am I making a mistake????
The sniper systems and the like are designed for guys to easily swap a carb out for injection. They are far from perfect systems. Ford spent millions on development of their systems and had to pass rigorous testing and government requirements. I would say unless you need to get rid of the ford intake for some reason you are making a mistake. I’ve built plenty of mustangs with 347 strokers that ran the factory ford ECU without any chips or tuning. Just get an adjustable mass air flow sensor and that’ll trick the computer for the bigger injectors.

This, I have a $200 ford fuel injection book on my shelf. I will never open it again. Still waiting for good words from one vendor product, still waiting with my flawless Quadra.

Ok, something to think about. It honestly ran ok and didn't really gibe me too many problems. My only concern is going to a stroker and how thats gonna work with that?

W Edmonton want to chase you from Eli, it’s just that we keep hearing issues, lots of issues. Carb have issues? Absolutely. Unless it’s a quadrant.
