Snipper is their Gen 1 unit which had some issues because the ECU is in the unit and could be affected by feedback from the ignition system

Snipper II is their revised unit, ECU is external. Maybe confirm what the seller actually has...

Complete, unused kit with distributor, fuel pump with relay and wiring, regulator, etc. Or something used?

New or used? Used, does it have everything?
2-barrel or 4-barrel (question is for both the sniper and the intake manifold on the engine)
Which version of the sniper is it? Can you get a model number? While the most common Sniper is the square bore 4-barrel, they also made them in Q-jet versions, 2-barrel, and even 1-barrel.

He just bumped his price up from 375 to 750 I may pass at this point
Thinks he has a little pot of gold....

You have to ask yourself why anyone would be selling either a sniper or fitech unit secondhand? They certainly won't tell you if the unit has any problems. It could be an installation problem or the unit itself may have a problem.

It would have to be a screaming deal for me to buy one off MP and I would be resigned to losing my money if it didn't operate properly.

It's one of those purchases that you really do want a warranty with. My 2c.

Wouldn't bother with Sniper I when the Sniper II is available. Installed Snipper II with Hyperspark and it's worked wonderfully.
