A nice tribute - thanks for sharing. Never got to meet Michael, but think about him often - guess that's how much he touched a lot of us.

I only know of Michael from being on here, but everything I have heard makes me realize that I missed out on knowing someone very special. He truely had the gift of a great family and has the support of a great family on here as well, including myself. I think I speak for everyone when I say, We all have Michael ridin shotgun with us everytime we hit the trail.

Very nice. Even though I had never met Michael I too think about him often.
Those are some fine points Alan. What are the round artifacts?

About those artifacts, we have hundreds of them and use our Bronco to get to our secret spots where we just walk around picking them up off the ground. The round ones are actually clay gaming pieces which were used as marbles and we have a pretty varied collection.

Here are a couple more pics I have of some others, and I really need to get some pics of the rest.

That is a very nice memorial. I never had the honor of meeting this young man, but from reading the post of those who did, it was my loss.
I hope this is not out of line, but was the cause of death ever determined? It makes you wonder why one so good could leave us so early.
If you do not feel you can share, I will completely understand if you want to keep it private and if so, please forgive me.

God Bless you and your family.

Thanks for posting the artifacts pics Alan. I am a bit of an amateur archeologist and have quite a collection myself. The arrowheads are usually much smaller out here.

Love the arrowheads and artifacts. When we had the family farm in KY I could walk down to a bend in the river behind the house and find all kinds of stuff laying around - pretty much all of it was from the Blackfoot tribes. It looked pretty similar to what you've got.
