Horn and Lights crossed ??????

I am replacing my stock steering wheel with an aftermarket Grant-style steering wheel. Before I started, my lights worked and my horn was weak, but it worked. I removed the old steering wheel and installed the new one. At first my horn did not work ( you could hear something clicking, but no sound) and my lights worked. Then my lights quit working and when I turned on my lights my horn would sound. Now no lights and no horn. Does anyone have any suggestions what's going on? How do I go about fixing this. I don't know how the horn and lights could be connected/crossed.
Thanks.

You've got a grounding issue with the new wheel or adapter. I'm sure where, so you'll have to employ some trial and error to find it.

Thanks for the lead. I'm getting ready to start looking. Do you know where the steering wheel typically grounds? under the dash? In the engine bay?

No, there is a ground ring (copper) that is part of your horn assembly.

If you still have your instructions for the Grant, it shows the ring that is just under the horn button that has to be cut. Shoot me a regular email if this is still stumping you and I will help you out. I ran into the same issue when I switched to a Grant wheel.
