how do you remove rear drive shaft from D20

Ok, so I got the old six banger removed from the frame... now all I have left is the tranny and transfer case. I unbolted the crossmember thinking i could lift the tranny and transfer case and the rear driveshaft would just slide out... but it didn't. What is the trick to this step?

There are four bolts holding the CV joint to the yoke on the back of the transfercase.

Yep and a the bolt heads are 1/2"

Could I get a picture? I removed four bolts from the bottom have of the CV Joint... I believe, but it didn't budge.
