How many project vehicles? Three: my '71 Bronco, my '97 F-250 and our '15 E-450-based motorhome. Or you could say 5 if you include the '89 speedboat and the '74 pontoon.

How many undriveable? Generally none, although any given weekend (or a little longer) could have one or two out of commission for one reason or another (although I guess technically I almost never have either of the two boats on the road).

I have 7 Broncos. 2 run at the moment. Another is about halfway through it's restomod and another got wrecked in July that was running. Still trying to heal up from the wreck. Once I'm back to being functional I'm back to work on those two Broncos. Then I still have 3 to pick from for the next project.

non-op registration

I've never heard of this, I kind of got the idea of what it means but what reasons would you do this? What state is this for? I'm originally for Ohio and they didn't have this. No real reason too. 6 years ago I moved to Kentucky and they have personal property tax. You have to pay this on every vehicle you own. I'm just wondering if this is something that could be used to get out of pay that tax on project vehicles.

Here in California if you just don’t pay your registration the state won’t simply consider it off the road, instead they look at it as the vehicle is still on the road but you haven’t been paying your fees. This is where the non-operation comes in, you have to file this and still pay, at a much lower rate, for non-operable vehicle registration. If you don’t do this for say 10 years and then decide to put the vehicle back on the road, then the state will hit you with 10 years of back registration (at full price) that you have to pay before the vehicle can be legally driven again.

OK, I misread your post and poll. They are all "Projects"! All are currently drivable but out of the 4 I have 2 are being worked on - my trail rig/crawler and my 78.

Nice mix. I think TR-3s are super looking cars. Where are you in MD? I'm in Rockville.
