Looking for the best way to remove the platic grill clips intact. Want to repaint the silver portion of my Rangers grill and clean up the aluminum trim. What is the best way to remove the trim?

Lots and lots of patience, wd 40, and small fingers, mine was a pain because the studs and nuts were so rusty but after a long afternoon I got it.
