Ok, so I'm tired of so so braking with the vacuum assist (aftermarket) and went to he junkyard to start my 2000 Superduty hydroboost install. Fortunately, this year has the extra long brake rod and was planning on building a mounting plate for install on the firewall. However, after mocking everything up with my 351W and 2" body lift, (btw the pedal height is spot on), rotating the hydroboost 90 degrees, I can't see how I can remove the engine for any future upgrades without removing the unit. I read until my eyes bleed and saw how you can relocate the brake pedal to the clutch side (I have the bracket in place already), but not sure if I want to go that route. I even thought of building an angle bracket off the firewall, but the brake rod angle would be too great. Then I thought about hacking up the aftermarket angled booster bracket, but even that I don't really want to do since I'm planning on selling it to makeup for the $$ invested.
