Wanting to do the cheby conv. on my 75 but am having trouble locating the spindles from 71-76. I have access to an entire front end the friend said i could take and get what parts i need but it is an 78 cheby. will it work? Thanks

No, those spindles won't work. The spindles should be pretty easy to find new - are you looking specifically for used ones?

yes i was going the used route. Had a guy told me he had a set but now he won't return my calls and the parts stores around here claim they can't get new ones. idk.

Local parts stores can't get them, but many aftermarket places sell them new including many of the vendors who advertise on this site.

I second the TBP route. Might be a few dollars more, but saves time for sure. I ended up having to buy two hubs, the wrong ones and then the ones from TBP.
