Glad to hear that things are going in the right direction, and you're back to work and getting along. I was just thinking about you and this thread a couple days ago but didn't get to looking it back up, so glad someone did. Best wishes for another new year!

Hang in there and I hope that you find a way to remember only the good things. I can't imagine how tough this has all been but carrying on and enjoying the future is important.

Take Care and Best Wishes.

I am glad this thread keeps surfacing- it gives me a moment to reflect on just how fortunate most of us really are.

Just read the obituary about your wife and she sounded like a wonderful and interesting person. You were blessed and though I don't know you I wish you and your family/her family comfort during this difficult time. It's never easy to lose someone you love and I think it's especially difficult when they are lost suddenly--there is no way to prepare for this. I have lost some key people in my life including my mother of late and I still don't think I've been able to reconcile it--it's a hard road but you're doing the right thing by reaching out. Prayers to you and your family and hers. God bless. Dave.

True statement Franko. Gotta deal with it and move on. Live your life.

Sounds like he's doing well at least

I keep up with Dave. He's doing OK..I'd even venture to say he's doing well, these days, but I certainly don't speak for him.

It was a tough road.
