So im not really sure how i managed it but one of the inner frame bolt holes on my 4x4x2 box is way off... Its wallowed out pretty good. So my plan is to reinforce it with a piece of plate and re drill it. Would 1/8" be thick enough? Or do i need more? And how much bigger would you reccomend the plate be than the hole? As of right now its a 3/4"ish maybe more by 1/2" hole... Dont ask how it happened im still flabergasted by it. (Im referring to the hole in the side of the frame not the box.)

Are you sleeving the holes? It doesn't sound like you are. If you are not you really need to be. Which hole did you start off with? Always go one hole at a time for a perfect fit.

Go easy on yourself. I pay "pro's" to do things for me and they can't get it right on most things.

Good luck on the fix.

Well i did some measuring. Turns out its not all my fault. I thought i had a case of bronco lean on the front of my bronco but it turns out my frame horn is twisted. If i had to guess it happened at the same time the radius arm was bent (which btw i didnt do). So it looks like ill just make it fit and reinforce it and keep an eye on it see how it holds up. Ive been wanting to swap the frame with a new one but just cant bring my self to pull it back apart lol.

put the sleeve in the frame and line it up with the good side. Now weld up the bad hole and weld it to the sleeve anywhere it needs metal. after the weld cools then drill through the good hole through the tube out the back side. The tube will act as your drill bushing. Its not as bad as you think it is. It just takes time that you wern't prepaird for.
