Where it goes now makes sense.It shields hot exhaust pipe next to gas tank .You helped out big time on this part. Thanks for the 1968 picture library saw where it goes.Thanks again for everyones help.

39909-S is a 5/16-18 X 3/4" hex washer head thread forming screw.
