For those that has done this, where and how did you make your cable connection on the carb?

Pics will help..

I've done the stock type to the pedal but I want a solid type that doesn't change rpm at every stop.

I don't understand the question. Idle speed is set by a set screw on the carb, not a cable adjustment/mounting.

Ford supplied 2100 carbs on some truck applications in the early '70s with both manual choke and throttle cables. This happened after EBs had gone to automatic chokes. So they would not be OE on an EB, but would certainly work if about the same size.

Mad see if you can find a autolite 2100 anti-stall solenoid and adjust/mod it to bump the throttle by a couple hundred rpm. Add a toggle to your shift lever and flip it on when you need a little more rpm. Pretty sure it should work.
