I would say yes but I am not a paint guy. I would assume that seam sealing also aids in rust prevention to a degree. Just my .02.

If you do both sides then I would say no, I didn't but that doesn't mean I did it right either. Using the seam sealer is just added protection but you may not get as good adhesion with the bedliner. Mine was blasted, primed then coated. I used sealer where it wasn't lined and then painted it. The sealer will work best where you have larger gaps and the liner won't get into the void, otherwise I would skip it.

If it were mine I would. Even if you get a thick liner like Rhino or Linex you should still seam seal it. If you use a quality seam sealer you won't have any issues with the bed liner sticking to it. Make sure to prime and scuff the seam prior to applying the seam sealer otherwise you can have corrosion issues. Here is a bed I'm going to paint in the morning that has been seam sealed with self leveling seam sealer.

Yes I already have the bottom done, it's pretty thick urethane stuff, and my seams are good that's why I was wondering.

I would use seam sealer, to try and keep any oxygen from staying in a gap that the bedliner may not seep in to
