Is anyone running headers on their inline 6 cylinder. Probably and odd request but that is what I was thinking about doing for my 67 U14. Pictures Please and where you can get them and any fitment issues.
I saw a few sets on Ebay stores for around $145. in stainless steel. Not sure if they would hit t he starter. May need another mini starter. Would really like to see them on a Bronco
I have a set I'll sell if interested, let me know. I had to 'massage' them a bit to fit behind the alternator and inside the passenger side frame rail. I'll see if I can find a pic

Actually had a set of these on our '72 bronco back in the early '80s. Combine that with glass pack mufflers and can't miss that sound!! Used to be called Clifford Research back then.
I'm also on a Falcon forum. There are lots using the Ebay headers successfully. I plan to use them too. The cast iron exhaust manifolds on these sixes have always been short lived. This is one application where headers are less maintenance than iron manifolds.
Remember that a header is chassis specific as well. Fitting the engine is the easy part. Clearing the firewall, frame, starter, alternator, and all the other stuff related to the chassis is the hard part.

Good point. The fitment is most important and that is the big reason I was asking. I see a lot advertised for a reasonable price but if they don;t fit whp cares. Sounds like the Clifford ones my be a good fit, Will do more research.
Here are pics of header installed. You’ll notice my alt bracket is flipped upside down to lower it, but I did not think to try that BEFORE I massaged the #1 tube. Also the flanges are welded on so they can’t be turned, so the one flange is actually touching the frame.
