lowes and home depot sell a foil backed insulation that is basically bubble wrap with a foil backing. That might help you out.

I used a product call ez cool, haven't tested it yet as the project is not finished, but its a bubble with foil on both sides,a lot denser than what you get a lowe's. come' in 4x10 foot rolls, 2 rolls was enought to do the top, an all of the floor from the raise up at the seats to the tail gate plus the fenders an rear quarters. I used the stuff from lowe's in the doors just double it in the doors that made a difference in the sound when the door's are closed. vinson

I used E-Dead on the metal surfaces and Jute padding (I think the brans was ThermTec, made from recycled plastic bottles) Total cost was around $100 for both. Noise reduction was impressive. I'm sure some more expensive materials would have made it even better, but I'm happy.

I used the Tom's kit. It's great until it gets wet, it takes forever to dry, and if you use it under vinyl it will never dry out. I removed all of it, except the the trans tunnel, it was molding an starting to smell.
