What's the correct gasket for a stock '72 302 cast iron intake manifold? I know people have had issues with the Felpro 1250 gaskets, but I believe those are performance gaskets intended for aftermarket aluminum intakes. Mine is just stock cast iron 2 barrel.

I picked up a set of Felpro MS 90103-1 gaskets today, which was all Napa had in stock. Looking online it seems most parts stores list this as the only OEM replacement gasket set for a '72 302.

My concern is when I lay the gaskets up the ports seem way too large. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Those look good for your iron intake. The problem with the 1250 gasket is that they don't have any steel reinforcement. With aluminum intake/iron block installation there is too much difference in the expansion rates and the un-reinforced gasket gets torn.

They are fine might want to check size against the head ports they are probably closer in size to that if not no big deal some heads did have slightly larger ports so the gaskets were probably designed to fit all years. on the flip side you could do some port matching its good for a few HP.
