if your looking for tires from them...dont get your hopes up anyone...i just found out today(hanging with the guys at lowcountry 4x4) that interco was sold. as of right now, the only tires from them to be had are from large warehouses(ie.4wheelparts,nationaltiredepot,etc.) sound like the most popular sizes are already gone from the market. no news if the company that bought them plan to start making them again...but it doesnt sound good so far. guess that warranty i bought from 4WP's will be useless for my 42"iroks!!!!

has anyone heard anything like this yet...surely some rock racing guys may have heard something? chime in if so...

They were running out of SS Iroks the beginning of July. I think my friend found the last set of 37 Irok thru 4wheel parts. And if I am not wrong, Pro Comp is the company that bought Super Swampers. Haven't heard yet if/when they will start making them again. But if it was Pro Comp, then expect a big jump in pricing as well.

Denman made most all of their tires and like a previous poster stated, they went belly-up! This has been on pirate for several months. I think they were trying to work with pitbull to supply some of their tires, outsource some to india/china, and try to make the most popular styles/sizes in house. Don't know about the Pro-comp rumors? As many as they sell in the SE US alone I would think they would be able to stay in business!

I thought all of the bigger stuff was already made overseas. Even before Denman went belly up. Chuck you and a good many are in the same boat. Might want to look into getting a boot(vulcanized) in those puppies for the time being.

Pro Comp tires are made by Cooper tires. So it would be strange for Procomp to buy them out but you never know!!

INTERCO is NOT out of business..... They are a family owned multigeneration business that is financially strong. They are working through the Denman issue. They owned part of Denman and are recouping production down time due to the loss of Denmans production facilities. They have all their molds and equipment and will have all their lines back up as soon as they are able. I am a sponsored and they see all these links I send to them along with other people sending them as well. No worries other than a little waiting for them to get production back up.Try to think of a company that has been making off road/mud tires longer? They have been around for the 25 years I have been playing with trucks;)....... and will be around a lot longer. HTH

Denman was making mud tires before Interco, also Armstrong was the only big tire maker way back in the day(when 12x15 were a huge tire!) See neither now. Not talking smack but in today's economy nothing is guaranteed!

As long as ProComp still makes tires, I am a happy guy :)

4WheelParts says the the XTerrain is the most advanced tire on the market today. I just got 5 XTerrains and 5 ProComp Rims and they are so cool. Very cool sidewall.
