i've made my weekly order of parts, so now i'm planning for next week's order:

interior door and dash:

which looks better, have you seen it in person, cleanability?

diamond plate dash & door panels

brushed stainless dash & door panels

dash wise, is there a diamond plate or stainless model that doesnt have the gauge holes cut already? i'm going to setup my gauges in a much different pattern than that stock configuration.

Thanks

Between the 2... brushed stainless hands down. It'll be a much cleaner look, be a flush mount for the gauges, and won't reflect the sun like dp.

Brushed stainless. Diamond plate would be rough on the knuckles and elbows on the door and the gauges and such would not sit right on the dash.

x2 - the stainless is a bit more modern and IMO less of a fad. Diamond Plate is tough to do right. Don't get me wrong I've seen some really nice DP rigs but if you don't make it work right you're left with DP that screams mullet and "my other car's a camaro"

I personally am a fan of the diamond plate as long as it isn't overdone as some have mentioned above. I think it gives these rigs a rugged/tough appeal.

Diamond plate is played out. I am in the process of getting rid of mine - all of it except some heal pads on the floorboards where it actually is useful! Go stainless or paint to match or contrast. Just my 2 cents.
