Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knew how common it was to have a 77 with a driver side mirror that you adjust from the inside? I have one on my 77 and I haven't ever been able to find parts for it. Thanks!

1969-1977 Remote mirror.
It was a factory install on my 1973 Explorer.
Listed on build sheet.
Part number C9TB-17683-B
Similar but different from the Ford car remote mirror of that era.
Look on EBay or here.

Summersea knows it.

Hard to find a good one or repair a broken one.

Does anyone have a pic of original mirror assembly for a power setup? I have a working power mirror on my 75 sport that is being redone. Was wondering if mirror I have on door now is original. It functions just fine. Screws look aftermarket and was wondering if mirror itself is original. Any help?

Did you use a Marti report as your build sheet? Or do you actually have the "original" build sheet? Any pictures by chance?

I have a 71 that has one but I do not have the build sheet.

No power mirror option ever that I’m aware of. Only the style with the mechanical knob on the inside attached via cable directly to the mirror. You move the knob here or there to adjust it.
No electricity involved at all.

Got any pics of yours?

I guess I should have called it manual power mirror. Yes. I have the internal manual knob that adjusts mirror. Was wondering if the mirror I have is the actual original mirror or aftermarket. Just looking for a pic of an original 75 mirror with this option….

The remote mirror was a separate option line item. I have a plain 73 Bronco, not Sport, Explorer or Ranger, that has the remote mirror. The Mustang mirror is not the same.

Almost all late 60's early 70's Ford remote mirrors will "fit". The problem is all of them are tiny compared to the factory Bronco mirror. I believe a late 60's F100 remote mirror is of similar size.

My Bronco mirror was damaged. I purchased a repo early mustang mirror to strip for parts, but I had to send the factory mirror housing and mount to get the pitting repaired and re-chromed at considerable expense. If you want the correct mirror, you can get a used one here, but it needs as much work as mine did.

For comparison, the mirror on the left is a Bronco. The one on the right is a Mustang/Cougar. The Mustang mounting bracket holes all line up with the Bronco, but the mount is shorter.

Did the mustang mirror innards work to fix your bronco mirror? Thinking of doing the same. Thanks
