Is there a fix for a remote mirror?

I have a remote door mirror and the mirror glass has come loose. Is there a way to fix it? I did see a video on some guy fixing an old Chevy remote door mirror but just wanted to see if anyone had fixed a Bronco mirror?

Thanks Jeff

The mirror glass is held onto the mirror backing plate with adhesive. The mirror backing plate is held tight by the cables that control movement. The mirror cables are held tight by the spring in the control lever housing. The whole mirror housing is held tight by the screw in the front of the mirror bracket. If you're tightening that screw and the whole mirror housing is still loose chances are the cup that the ball the housing rotates in is cracked. If the mirror is loose from the mirror backing plate, the adhesive is weak. If the backing plate is loose a cable has broken or the housing with the spring your lever is screwed into is disintegrated. If it's the whole mirror loose from the door the screws holding into the door are stripped. There's a tread about this that came out recently and I'll be doing a write up on it later this week.
