My Bronco ran like crap at OCBR, didn't even hit a trail the last day because I was scared I may not make it back. Running Holley Terminator EFI and had run flawlessly for almost 2 years up until the first uphill obstacle at OCBR, nothing extreme at all. I fought it until Friday playing with the EFI settings thinking it was something with the system. I pulled the fuel filters late on Friday and they were full of what looked like paint flakes. Replaced the filters and it run good for a few minutes and has been gradually getting worse, so I know the filters are probably full again. I rinsed the tank out before I installed it. Whatever this is had to come from the tank itself or was in fuel that I put in it. I just don't think it was in the fuel but can't say for sure. I plan to pull the tank next week and sell it, didn't like how far it hung down anyway, sheered one of the bolts that holds the skid plate slamming on a rock. I am going to go with a bed mounted fuel cell.
Anyway, not bashing the tank because I don't know where that crap came from yet, but a couple people told me at OCBR they had the same problem and was from the lining of the tank. I won't know for sure until I pull it out but was curious if anyone else had that problem.
