• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

I'll say no due to lack of info and pics. Just too many unknowns to even begin to guess.

Got ya. He did send me a few more pictures, but they are just of the outside. He said it was restored 10 years ago and does have some rust.

Is that a photo from 10 years ago - we ran into that multie times. Do they use salt on the roads there - 10 years is a ling time in that case. Another issue is - no doors no hard top - way easier to restore than one with hard top and doors.

If you do get some more information and want to pursue this one further. There are a few members on the forum in Omaha that may be willing to put some eyes on it for you.

Sounds good. Thanks again!

That's sound advise, and there's folks here in just about every part of every state willing to do so. It will save you a lot of money and headaches. Welcome by the way

Looks like all four corners have been trimmed to remove rust areas. As mentioned, diamond plating hides things, and roadster inserts hide rusty door areas.

Don't let the diamond plate and insets make your decision for you.....yes, they can cover up rust areas prone to the Bronco...BUT that was also very popular mods on these trucks in the 80's and 90's.......
My 75 bronco I bought had inserts and diamond plate on the rockers......(and it was in Michigan, but not a Michigan truck)....I spent the 4 hours each way to go look at it and it paid off, very solid bronco at a fair price!!
You need to look at it or have somebody look at it for you that knows Broncos, or get VERY detailed pics of all the potential rust areas.....
Good luck with your search!!

I agree with 77Bronco636, I had that diamond plate on a couple of my rigs in the past and had no rust. I also have the four corners trimmed the same as the one pictured. I like the look, no rust I just cut them off.
I would definitely go look at any Bronco in person before purchasing, too many things to see with just pics.
Good luck with it!
