Definitely looks nice. I like the work he's done on the engine. Not to crazy about the chrome grill.

Jump in and give it a spin, you'll probably fall in love.

Well that we don't hurt anyones feelings and I haven't seen the vehicle up close and it sounds nice, So the PC thing to say here is.., Personally I cant afford it in one lump some. That doesn't mean its not worth it, It just means is it worth to you at that amount and state its in.

Ive came across trucks that they were clearly not worth it to me, just because they asked for a high price compared to the condition it was in or others subscribe to PT Barnums theory.

My theory...If you make a load you don't mind spending it on what you want. Some people are blessed with dump trucks and wheel barrels to take it home in. Ive been blessed to pay those people just to load it and help carry it ;D

If I was interested in this 35 yr. old bronco
I would go over the underside of really close,
and also the wheel well openings, floor boards,
kick panels, cowl and under the windshield
for ANY signs of rust. Also stock manual brakes
you would probably want to get disc up front sometime.
The stock seats are allright for a couple hours ride.
did he change the d30 for a d44 front end? It LOOKS good
in the pics. Just watch out for rust on these rides. most everything
else is just turning bolts and such.

I spent a lot of time trying to see closer to the paint and look in the door jams. If that is worth 12 then 2bads is worth 35. the latches got painted too

when buying one of these trucks bring your old clothes & a flashlight , the first thing you do is get on the ground a look everywhere under the truck

He didnt say one thing about new seals, bearings, u-joints and didnt mention rust (then or now). Ill tell you this Im doing mine frame up and I have aproxx 10k in it and havent even touched the body, power steering or brakes(upgrading to 4 whl discs soon). So like everyone said get under it get dirty write down everything you find and start deducting from there. If you do buy Im interested in that grill. Yea I like it! Ive seen realy nice go for 5500 and pieces of crap go for 10000. Get personal with it before you break the bank!

I am in the middle of doing a complete restoration. I can tell you if you can pick one up that has had a lot of work done it will save you a lot of money. A lot of guys, including myself, like the challenge of building the rig yourself. If I had do overs, I might have either looked for a bronco that either already had a lot of the upgrades already done or I would have looked for one that was very cheap and needed a lot of work.

The high net here is if you like it and you have done your due dilligence to ensure that it is mechanically sound and not a rust bucket I would go for it.
