Is there anyone that can give me direction in my build
from start to finish? Or a direct source of detailed build to follow?
Will pay for your expertise!
Thanks

This site is your greatest asset.
Learn to use the search function well and "you" will be the local eb encyclopedia.

The first decide what you're gonna do with it. Will it go off road? Mud, rocks, fire roads? Or will it be daily driver, weekend cruiser, just for shows? Lifted and cut fenders? Stock(luber).
Once you know this it will be easier to get a direction on how to build it. Also if it's not mentioned a location is a big help. Makes it easier to recommend shops or local bronco guys to come drink your beer and check out the bronco. Another good idea is attend some bronco events or car show to get ideas on custom features you might want. Welcome to the club.

Im in Maryland on Eastern shore.

I will be doing some of the work but mostly will have outsource to do the time to build.

Sounds prime for an explorer swap. Get a late 90s explorer 5.0 with the trans, computer, front dress. Basically everything including the transmission in one piece. Then either get a dana 20 adapter or an atlas will bolt up. Some find it easier to find a running explorer cheap and buy the whole truck. Then you have everything. Once the swap is complete and running unload the remaining explorer stuff

So you have the motor. Now just get the explorer tranny anywhere electronics it takes to run it. That's why it's easier to just find an explorer cheap. Then you have the ecu, wiring harness and all the plugs and pieces to make it run. Probably best off going with the dana 20(cheaper option) behind it. You can run the stock eb front dress(water pump, pulleys and brackets but better to upgrade to the explorer set up. What the classifieds on here for complete front kits. The explorer set up gives you serpentine belt, better cooling and more clearance up front.

The captions contain most of the technical information about how we built it, which should give you plenty of ideas.

But only YOU can decide how YOU want YOUR truck to turn out. So start there, and work backward to get it there from where it is now.

Thanks, this makes sense and i recall this about where I left off.. but you are starting to lose me. Now i have to source all of this from a donor or go to a pick and pull and cut the appropriate harness etc and locate correct trans. No way I can spare that treasure hunt time , I simply dont know what im doing. I dont have the background to go that deep into custom mechanical setups .
Is there anyone who I could connect with to say- here’s the right thing you will need, (new or good condition )- and sell it to me..?
I can assemble any grill or ikea cabinet- i just need the parts and rudimentary directions...

Anyone out there to hire to build the drivetrain in mid atlantic area ,frame off ? That would get me over a lot of hurdles.
I can manage the body and other tasks from that point .

Once again doing research , confusion sets in -
Go with explorer swap , coyote swap from f150 , etc...

Coyote is alot more $$ and hacking things up to get it in. Also a different bolt pattern for the tranny. The explorer stuff drops right in as long as it's a v-8 bronco. In your position its probably worth finding a used explorer cheap. Then all the parts are there. Then you can either slowly swap it yourself and get help for the computer stuff or pay somebody to swap it. Coyote swaps are a waste of money to me. If you want more power and efi go 351w swap with explorer efi or a fitech system. Still a bolt in and less $$ than a coyote.

Well right now truck is empty, no wiring just frame and suspension.

Can i use the explorer - ac system, fuel pump , etc ,brake and power steering , t case etc ?
I have the engine but i could buy a good donor truck and possibly use all those accesories.
