Don't know the cure, but that seems like an issue I've heard before. Maybe someone remembers their trouble and cure, or maybe we can find one of the threads where it was discussed.
A sensor maybe (not too bad), or perhaps this is one of the issues with the computer itself (not too great!) where they need to exchange it.

Or maybe it comes back to the radio noise interference issue that some people have with Broncos going EFI and computer.

Either way, good luck with it. A real pain, but when it runs well it's a dream.

And hittin' the streets in style for sure.
Even the "custom tweaked" bumper can't ruin a good day driving.
Bummer about that though. Looks like it was custom painted and everything?
Oh well, just run into something else solid and push it back. At least with factory bumpers that used to work pretty well and then you just hammered the kinks out a little bit at a time. Not sure if newer replacements work the same.

I love how yours sits. What lift does it have. Besides fixing my bumper (it now has a park brake!) and about 20 other things I think I need to lose some lift. I recycled the rancho shocks and springs mine had originally to save some money but its turned out too much lift in my opinion as well as riding really hard.
