The Pony Express is ready to ride the dunes again! Monster Mike pulled off a big surprise for James this week, working with Jack Hale of U.S. Indy Mags over the last couple months, Jack managed to get us a set of vintage 15x14" rear wheels (the last of their kind, specially polished for the Pony) and 15x10's for the fronts are now matched up with new paddles, ready to hit the Silver Lake Dunes for the Bronco Takeover in just a few weeks! (august 4th thru the 6th

We are offering free delivery to the event as space permits. This is your opportunity to potentially save some big bucks on shipping charges. Give the sales guys a call. It is loaded as first sold, first packed until we run out of room.

Check the official link here for more info on the Bronco Take Over here.

Very nice. But why did the pony need new wheels?

The original wheels still have the old sand tires on them and are being used on the display Chassis in the show room. Those tires are cracking and splitting real bad and we didn't want to ruin them just to use the wheels. Pony Express has slotted mags wrapped in BFG rubber for street and trail use so we thought a slotted mag for the new sand tires would compliment the build nicely.

Very cool. Glad you are trying to save the original tires for history sake. I have a set of 15x36x15 dick cepek fun countries on dan gurney or parnelli jones victory or gt mags that i dont want to wear out. The tires i came across brand new and other than being anlittle out of round look new and have no aging. The wheels came on my bronco. Inam actually looking for one or two more tires to match. Already have a couple wheels.
