Nope... My Bronco came stock with the hand throttle knob on the dash. I was going to delete it but decided to keep it and it works like a champ for setting fast idle to run my onboard air compressor. It holds any throttle position I set it to, and releasing it is as simple as pushing it back in - kind of the same way a manual choke knob works.

Any idea what models came stock with this? The '68 I just got has it on the dash too.

I don't have any picturs of it mounted on an NP-435, but the mount is 5/8" ID if that helps?

Most citys will have a shop that can make you push pull cables. They can make you one of these as well. Often called vernier control cables. Twist lock is the feture you are looking for. Twisting the knob runs a screw to precisely adjust the cable but the button will over ride it.

A quick google search shows up stuff like http://www.eriksmilitarysurplus.com/thcoca10ftwi.html
