Wow. I thought my project started rough. I am looking at the rust and thinking that you maybe want to go with a fibreglass tub. If your firewall/lower cowl is OK then maybe you are going to be OK, but man that's alot of rust. Just saying by the time you get done paying for all the replacement metal, it maybe more economical (and less of a nightmare realigning) to get a glass tub. I will be interested to see how this get resurrected. Good luck, and good job on saving another from the crusher!

I have daily been looking at options. I am planning on staying with Steele. But it all needs replaced. Since i am new to this and my welding has just started i am considering vendors that have big sections already welded together. I have a while to decide on those options. I am still having a great time learning. These things are awesome. And the guys here have end less knowledge and are great support.

If you have the time then welding all metal body back together is something you can do. I wouldn't take the time anymore having done it once already, I would go fiberglass, but I already have an all metal truck so that makes the decision easier for me, if I ever do this again.

Looking forward to seeing you put this all together.

Got the body braces on and got the body up off the frame. The worst so far is the right rear frame end is cracked and broke. Looks like some one welded some bracing there at one time. Starting to worry about the scaling on the frame. Was counting on that being good. Hope to get body clear tomorrow and get frame stripped ready for blasting:D

Awe heck the bronco is BLUE, you have GOT to restore that! I think once you get that frame blasted or dipped, a bit of welding on that end, it should be ok.
