Does anyone own a keystone Bronco? What I mean by "keystone" is the first one after a major change like the availability of the V8, Dana 44, C4, power steering, J shifter, disk brakes, etc.

These are sequence numbers for a few keystones. Please add more if you know them.

K20001-Dana 44 introduced
P40001-power steering available
V60001-J shifter revised

No but I bought a '78 last year with a VIN that ends in 3000. First "round number" VIN on a vehicle I have owned! ;D

I think think what you are asking would be very hard to verify. Broncos were built on assembly lines mixed in with trucks. How do you know "K20001" was even a Bronco? Probably the best you'll be able to do is find "earliest known" and that person would have bragging rights until an earlier VIN surfaces. And lots of Bronco upgrades introduced on a rolling basis - when the previous part ran out. A good example of this is the transition from vacuum wipers to electric - including the windshield frame and top bolt pattern changes - occurred in mid-'69.

Interesting idea though . . .
