Leaf Springs Backwards?!?!

Well, this should go under the duface column of installs, but here goes.

I installed my new 11 pack Duff rear leaf springs quite a while back, but I just never got around to pulling the stickers off. Well I did this and sure enough, under the stickers is the word "Front". Come to find out I installed them backwards (with the double spring eye wrap in the back attached to the shackle).

Question is: Does this really make a difference? Performance problems? Is the angle of the rear pinion now affected due to the housing held at the wrong angle? I need to fix this now if I'm going to at all because the body goes back on Monday.

Thanks.

I know, I know. I was just hoping by some chance it didn't make a difference. I was planning on spinning them around this friday anyway.... Just a pain in the a$$.

I think the idea is that if the main leaf breaks the second will hold the axle from trying to walk out behind your Bronco.
If its hooked to the shackle it'll try to flop around.

Assumeing the end that breaks is the right one ::)
