LED Lights

Hello everyone.

I see that ebay has LED replacement lights. I'm fairly skeptical of ebay, so I don't have the stones to try these myself without any input from those who have. I’d like to replace the stock lights with brighter, but good looking and durable units.

Does anyone here have experience with anything from ebay? Or really any LED replacement units from any source.

Thanks in advance,
Colin

I like SUPERBRIGHTLEDS.com.. Have had good experience with them. Also, look at BCBroncos. I LOVE their LED snake lights.. I use them for my custom turn signals and bright light and also for interior lighting under dash..

I had LED bulbs in my excursion for all exterior bulbs except headlights. I thik it was like 13 bulbs. Never had one burn out in the 7 years i owned it. Back then it was common to have the turns blink way too fast because of the lower resistance, but i have found that most new turn signal relays are made for LED's and will make the new LED bulbs blink at the right speed.

They are nice and they are bright. But there expensive. Also note that LED's are directional, which in the case of a bronco shouldnt matter but in the side running lights of new vehicles you may notice that not as much light gets to the side of the bulb.

I have seen the superbrightled websight and they seem to have alot of options. Im sure your local auto store has them in the common bulbs nowadays.

I have experiance with just the LED replacement bulbs not the entire unit like some sell.

Looks like ol' Myong really likes led lights. I put a complete set less the headlights on from a vendor, other than having to install the resistors it's plug and play.

What do you need resestors for? I had over 13 LED bulbs on my excursion and never had to add a resistor! If the resistor is for the blinkers...too slow them down...then your 20 years behind the times. You just get a new flasher thats rated for LED's. Plug and play!

I got all the running lights, brake, turn, tail, clearance and reverse LED bulbs from WH I believe. The kit came with resistors for the blinkers but I just used a newer flasher.
I also did the Alice mod on the front signals and used clear lenses, they look cool with the amber LED's

Send me the money and I will get them from ebay for you and test them also. EBAY works good most of the time, but you do get what you pay for.
